About the exhibition

Vedanth is an immersive technical showcase where innovators from top institutions display their skills in IoT, machine learning, robotics, and more. It highlights critical problem-solving, addressing unmet needs, and unique innovations. The event aims to captivate with strong narratives, technological solutions, and entrepreneurial strategies.

Rules And Guidelines

General Rules:


1. The projects must be a functional implementation of the idea with comprehensive documentation.
2. Inovations can come from any field of science and technology or leverage technology to solve real-time problems.
3. Categories include but are not limited to AgriTech, EduTech, HealthTech, FinTech, cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, web and mobile applications, cybersecurity, blockchain, big data, and cryptography.
Individuals and Teams of students are eligible to participate.
5. An individual cannot put more than one entry individually or as a part of a team.
6. Participants must present a working model in its current state and supporting documents to the Judges/Audience.
7. Language: All presentations and videos must be in English.
8. Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
9. It is mandatory to submit the process video. Non submission of the video on time will lead to disqualification.


Video Submission Rules:


1. Video Duration: The video should be between 2 to 5 minutes long. The submission must be a proper long-form video, not a reel or short clip.
2. Audio Quality: The audio must be clear, and voiceovers are allowed. Teams may include background music during discussions.

Video Content Requirements:


The video should include the following sections:
1. Introduction to the Team: Briefly introduce the members of your team and their roles.
2. Team Composition: Describe the skills, backgrounds, highlight what each member brings to the table.
3. Story Behind the Project: Share the inspiration and thought process behind selecting the problem or idea.
4. Problem Statement: Clearly define the problem your project addresses. Explain why it is relevant and important.
5. Team Dynamics: Showcase how the team worked together, including collaboration, decision-making processes, and any unique team strategies.
6. Development Journey: Document the stages of development, including ideation, prototyping, and iteration.
7. Challenges Faced by the Team: Describe significant obstacles encountered during the project, and how the team overcame them.
8. Evolution of the Idea: Explain how the idea developed or changed over time, reflecting on any pivotal moments or decisions.
9. Individual Contributions: Highlight the contributions of each team member to the project. Be sure to acknowledge the roles and efforts of all participants.
